Excessive drinking includes binge drinking, heavy drinking, and any drinking by pregnant women or people younger than age 21. Statistics show binge drinkers in men, consume 5 or more drinks in just 3 hours, but for women, they consume 4 or more drinks in 3 hours. For heavy drinkers in men, they can consume 15 or more drinks per week and for women, they consume 8 or more drinks per week.
Excessive drinking can cause health risks as depression, liver cirrhosis, cancer, and dementia, and cardiovascular disease. Death tolls caused by alcohol have reached 88,000 people every year that are from 2006-2010.
